My baby boys 2 years 5 month old he only speaks few words I head consult with doctor it is because of speech delay but I want to know besides speech delay he does not understand things properly and I know that it is not any kind of disease because the doctor has checked so anyone can tell me what can I do

A. Hello there ma’am, please do not worry about it too much. Babies start to speak small words like maa and paa by the age of two yaers and make small sentences by the age of three years. talk more with baby . Good speech takes time to come . You can speak more with baby even if did not respond much you can talk to baby more as eventually baby will speak clearly and also you can take help of any speech therapist and should avoid any screen time of television and mobile .
