Q.
my baby boy weight was 6kg when he was 3 month old nd now he 4th month will start but still his weight is 6 kg 300 grams .. he was suffering from cold nd cough last month but he was not facing any issues while breastfeeding. please suggest me what to do to increase weight.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of virffal illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatmefnt accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
