My baby boy’s birth weight was 3.3 kgs. He is 4.5 months old now and his weight is 5 kgs only. He is active but thin. What’s ta good weight gain for this age and how to reach that weight? I breast feed him through out the day & bottle feed him once at night.

A. if child is not gaining proper weight you need to consult your doctor to rule out the cause and most of the time it could be because of nutritional deficiencfies like nutritional anemicha and some other factors like malabsorption any chronic disease like congenital heart disease or some chronic infection specially urine infection or worm infestation should be checked if required .
