A. At 6 months, many babies are still developing their motor skills, and not all will bounce while standing. Standing with support may be an early milestone, but bouncing might take more time. Here are a few considerations: 1. **Muscle Strength:** Bouncing requires good muscle strength, which develops gradually. Ensure your baby has enough tummy time to strengthen core muscles. 2. **Balance:** Standing and bouncing involve balance. Some babies take more time to develop the balance needed for these activities. 3. **Support:** Make sure you are providing proper support. Holding your baby's hands or placing them against a stable surface can help them feel secure while standing. 4. **Encouragement:** Encourage your baby with positive reinforcement. Use toys or your voice to make standing more engaging. If you have concerns, it's always a good idea to discuss your baby's development with their pediatrician. Every child develops at their own pace, and variations in milestones are common.
