Q.

my baby boy is now 1 year old but still he looks like 7-8 month old his weight is only 9kg I'm so worried about it how can I increase his growth

A. Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also. Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc. Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common. Supplementgs like iron supplements and multivrditamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite. Diet counselling is also very important .

Your child is not that under weight also that you are feeling that your child is looking like a seven-month-old child see your child is one KG underweight only it’s not much to cover up if you start giving more of proteins to the child I’m sure things are going to be better over the periodWrite Your Answer Here
