Mom of a 4 yr 10 m old boy3 years ago
Q.

My baby boy is going to turn 1 yr next month. His birth weight was 3.1kgs. However, his current weight is 6.30kgs and he looks like an 6-7 month old baby .He is currently on 3meals 1 snack/fruit diet. His Peadectrician says he is an active baby and not to worry about the weight gain as he has reached all his milestones correctly. pls advise what food can be given so that he gains weight.

A. Hello mom kids normally triple their birth weight and then yearly they gain about 2 to 4 kgs . Yes a little variation is acceptable as far as the child is active for his age and eats well
