Q.

My baby boy is 7 months old and weighs just 6.5kg. his birth weight was 2.5kg. he looks very lean. what should I give him for weight gain and to make him chubby?

A. Dear ma’am, being chubby doesn’t necessarily mean the child is healthy. Introduce age appropriate foods. You can include calorie dense foods like sweet potato, banana, multigrain porridge, dal rice, boiled and mashed egg etc. continue to encourage frequent breastfeeding.

A. I have started giving all these things but he doesn't eat a full bowl..doctor said he should be having 5-6 scoops of cerelac but he is full with 2-3 scoops. I am really worried
