my baby boy is 5 months old now his weight is 7 kg n his birth weight was 3.1 kg is it normal

This is ok. I think you are giving formula. Generally babies get their weight thrice by 1 year and twice by 6 month of their birth weight.
I would suggest to continue breastfeeding dear as mother's milk is easily digestible. Start giving semi solid and solid food once baby completes 6 month.
Try using Babyhug bed protector and Babyhug reusable muslin cloth diaper in daytime
