Q.

my baby boy is 5 months and 7 days old. can I give me water as it's getting really hot. and also why doctors suggest not to give water till 6 months, any specific reason?

A. Water has no calories but fills your baby nevertheless. This will make him less interested in drinking milk. It could also result in weight loss. also baby’s kidneys are still not capable of handling too much fluid and giving your little one water causes their kidneys to flush out electrolytes and sodium, leading to dehydration and an electrolyte imbalance.

A. hello b! or the infant formula milk you give itself will contain water as required by for the bay and do not give baby water till 6 months as it can absorb the nutrients.. just make sure to give baby either bm or infant formula milk which should be sufficient enough fir the baby
