my baby boy is 4 months old, and he poops once in a week or once in 4 days. I'm breastfeeding his weight was good, he weighing 6kgs. my only concern is that his poop smells bad sometimes. I never faced this with my firstborn her poop never smelled bad until she was 1 year old. can anyone please tell me the reason for the bad smell.

Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and somge enzyme preparationsvv in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
