Q.

My baby boy is 22 mths old he prefer more of sweet dishes so how much and in what frequency should i give him?

A. Hi, it is always good to avoid salt and sugar. Instead of sugar you can add jaggery which is rich in iron. You can also use honey. But once in awhile it would be good but not every day. Especially outside sweets and chocolates it is better to avoid them. you can give home-made sweets which is made with the ghee and jaggery alternative days or once in two days in a small quantity. Try to give more fibre and calcium rich food, fruits, veggies, pulses, sprouts.Write Your Answer Here
