My baby boy is 2 months 6 days old, from last 4 days he is suffering with cold and cough.. we took him to hospital 4 days back... now he is getting rare cough and it is looking like heavy and wet cough... he is suffering a lot when he is getting.. do i need to take him hospital again??? doctor suggested maxtra, ascoril ls, and nasal saline drops... please suggest what to do..

A. hi parent ur kid 2 m old, having cough and cold which commonly due to viral infection ,usually lasts 1week, what u need to watch for is feeding difficulty or breathing difficulty, as sometimes may complicated with pneumonia, u may give indirect steam inhalation along with nasoclear nasal drops for liquefying mucus secretions, keep room warm and cosy ,Vicks baby rub for relief
