Q.

My baby boy is 2 months 18 days, can I eat onion and tomato ? because riders at home are not allowing me to eat that. they say it will effect my baby since I breastfeed him. and they even say it will form gas in baby's stomach ? is it true ? If not, what actually form gas in baby's stomach?

A. you can eat, but in moderate amount. Avoid taking seafood, Spicy food and flatulence causing food can cause a shift in your baby’s reaction, also avoid coffee,meet and non veg, Beans Cabbage Dairy products Onions Tomatoes Caffeine Chocolate Eggs Soy Wheat Peanuts Citrus food products,Processed food.

A. Both of them contain acid that's why it has sour taste. Eating foods having sour taste will cause gas trouble to baby. So it is necessary to avoid sour foods.
