Q.
My baby boy is 1.5months old.Till now he does not speak any word.Is this normal or we should consult doctor?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. proper language / speech development will start between 18 months of age to 3 years of age.
there is no need to worry before that just concentrate on the diet and regular interaction with the child.
also speech and language develops properly with more people available to interact with the child
avoid usage of tv mobile and laptop because they are the most common reasons for delayed speech and language development.
the most important thing is that before speech, understanding of the commands given by the parents should be present.
by 18 months if the chirld is not following basic commands then only you have to meet the doctor for speech anrd development assessment.
requirement of speech therapy will also be discussed by your doctor.

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent, your bahy is only 1 5 years old. And this is absolutely normal for this age baby to it speakmuch. Just give him good and healthy diet to eat. Also interact with your child a lot and in a very clear tone so that he understands what you are saying and would imitate as he would grow.
