Q.

my baby boy born with 4.2kg weight and he is 4month old now he is 5 1/2 kgs but still he didn't gain weight and breast feeding only

A. Weight gain in a child is a good indicator for proper health of the child and there should be a regular weight gain as per the age of the child. if there is not a proper weight gain it can be because of many factors and three most important causes are Baby not taking enough calories Baby is not absorbing the enough calories which the baby is taking Baby is bgurning too many calories . So a proper assessmenthy is very important to know the cause regarding this .

A. So quit breastfeeding the child please go ahead with giving to the child because your child sufficiently as per the birth weight your child should have gained about a minimum of 1600 g by the time of four months so I think it is little less because your child was too healthy and by now your child should have been somewhere around six 6 1/2 KG
