Mom of a 4 yr 9 m old boy4 years ago
Q.

My baby boy; 9 month old is not sleeping properly during day time. He sleeps 3 times but only 20-30 minutes(short naps ). At night he sleeps continuously for 10 hours most of the days and takes breastfeed in between. He is active. He crawls but will not sit on his own but if we make him sit he can sit without support. Is he getting adequate sleep ? Thanks in advance

A. If the baby is otherwise active playful do not worry about the sleeping pattern and baby There is a lot of individual variation about the sleep at this age group ok

A. Yes Since your child is completing most of the sleep during the night time that means your child is getting adequate sleep also if your child is not able to sit on its on then that is not right you have to get a check with your doctor because at this age a child should be able to sit on its own independently without anybody’s help
