Q.
my baby boy 20 months old is getting up daily by 1 or 1:30 am and doesnt go bck to sleep till 3:30 or 4am for the past 10days ..his afternoon nap is from 1 to 3pm...he is a active kid...bed time is by 9 or 9:30 pm....why he is not sleeping ? is there any issue

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 months of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irritability because of infantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitagution etc you should not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.

Sleep pattern in small children varies... If ur child is comfortable when awake, no signs of uneasiness or discomfort then no need to worry.. Massage ur baby before sleeping as it helps to give sound and comfortable sleep. Take care
