Q.
My baby boy 1 month old, experiencing constipation along with distension of abdomen since 2-3 days, He is not able to pass stools without application of suppository , does he need evaluation by imaging or should I wait, coz doctor said its quite normal in neonates. but due to distension baby becomes irritable and cry alot. what to do?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. one month baby is having hard stool and pain stomach Babies below 6 months may not be passing stool regularly a constipation of 8 to 10 days is absolutely normal in them there is no need of any medicines
