Q.

my baby boy 1 month 7 days old... ues suffering for jaundice..after 3 day of birth.. bilirubin level 11 mg/dl...after 6 day recheck n bilirubin level again 11 mg/dl ..after 1 month check bilirubin level is 9 mg/dl.. doctor said showing sunlight twice a day morning n evening...how to cure this prblm?

A. it is important to not that small amount of Jaundice maybe present till 1 or 2 months and it will go away with only proper breastfeeding and no other treatment is required as well as no investigation is also required

A. Nine is a very average level and the doctor is correct you should have actually kept your child into indirect sunlight from the beginning only that helps a lot and reducing down the levels but yet as of now also if you do it twice in a day it will automatically show us significant change for good that’s the only treatment and start with the vitamin D supplement
