A. Every baby is different and so as their development milestones. Weight increase largely depends on the feeding patterns in the initial months. Ideally, a weight gain of 140-200 gms per week is considered good and by 5th month, it should double the birth weight. An one month old baby girl can weight approximately 3.5 to 4.2 kgs.
