A. there is always a chance of neonatal jaundice in small children within one or maximum 2 weeks of birth in which the skin as the eyes may appear yellow. you have to meet the doctor for evaluation of the jaundice.x normal simple jaundice will go away on its own with only breastfeeding but if it is more your doctor will advise phototherapy. the yellowness from the eyes may take around 1 to 1 and half month to totally go away.

A. You can put your child into phototherapy and also you can start giving vitamin D supplement to the child which is what is going to be good for you other than that the child is meant to be kept in phototherapy or indirect sunlight your doctor would advise you on that
