Q.
My baby birth weight was 3.225 kg. At the day of discharge it was 2.8 kg. Last checkup i did on March 10. That time her weight was 5 kg. She looks very lean & not healthy. As true lactation failure happened to me, she is being formula fed since day 1. I feel she is not gaining adequate weight. She looks too tiny even aftr being a full term baby. Pls help me

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist5 years agoA. see we have to see the baby before we give any comment. so i suggest you can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well

Manali K MehtaMom of a 9 yr 11 m old boy5 years agoA. Hi parent as per your child age his weight is normal so no need to worry about this matter please give plenty of breast feeding to your child when you're child is demanding please give daily massage and sun light exposure
