Jasna JasiGuardian of a 2 m old girl6 days agoA. No, this is not normal. A healthy baby usually gains about 1.2–1.6 kg in the first 2 months. Your baby gained only 0.5 kg, which is less than expected. You should consult a pediatrician to check feeding, growth, and overall health.
Feeding issues – baby may not be getting enough breast milk or formula.
Poor absorption – nutrients may not be properly absorbed by the body.
Birth-related issues – smaller growth at birth or health problems at birth.
Other health problems – infections, digestive issues, or other illnesses.
💡 Advice: See a pediatrician for evaluation
RashmiMom of a 11 yr 4 m old girl1 Year agoA. Look the basic logic behind calculating the weight is 500 g minimum every month your child should gain so technically your child should have been about 4 kg or more than that right now your child is not gaining appropriate amount of weight as it should be so you should check with your doctor for further help
