My baby birth weight is 2.77 , he stayed in NICU for 7 days , on discharge his weight is 2.46 . now he is 3 months old and 5 kg. is it good?

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 years agoA. Hello mom he is gaining weight gradually and thats what is needed, so its good enough , full term babies are expected to almost gain in the range of 300gm to 1 kg monthly and by the age of 4 to 6 months they almost double their birth weight.
