but it depends on both - a mother and child
please feed your child atleast one year age.
it contains antibodies which help your child to fight against viral or bacterial infections.
so please don't rush to wean your child.
offer food like green leafy vegetables, fruits, different pulses .
for cough:
it is better to offer sheera ,bajara rab,kadha with warm water, Tulsi leaves, turmeric powder and salt

usually they fade away within sometime by own naturally.
but they will not disappear completely.
to reduce them ,you can try some homemade remedies like:
massage this part with oil like bio oil or vitamin E oil.
make a scrub with sugar, almond oil and few drops of lemon juice,use it daily before taking bath.
take healthy and well balanced diet.
keep your body well hydrated
maintain good hygiene

to reduce your weight:
please start to do exercises or yoga regularly.
don't use vehicles for short distance.
do household work like mopping
eat couple of bites less than usual.
eat low fat high fiber diet like green leafy vegetables fruits more
avoid taking processed oily spicy food.
increase your fluid intake.
drink warm water with honey and few drops of lemon juice daily in morning.
