Q.
My baby aged 2months 1week, not passing stools for past 4 days. Eventhough i used lactulose syrup 1ml yesterday, stools was not passed. Is anything worried about it..?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 2 months old and he has not passed stools since last 4 days so give him enough milk and use soap stick at his rectum

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. no you can't sue syrup it s normal for the baby to not pass stools daily as digestion can be different for everyone . If baby does not pass stool even upto 1 week it s not to worry. If more than 1 week and baby has discomfort can use glycerine suppository for relief. No syrup is given for this below 2 years
