Q.

my baby age is 3 months and 20 days . he has a tendency after each feed he will do some coughing and nasal congesion is there. sometimes after feeding he is taking hiccups for long. he is formula milk feeder baby. is it normal.?

A. For newborns/infants, use saline drops to move the mucus to the front of the nose, making it easier to remove with an aspirator. Daily use of saline drops will help keep nasal passages clean and moisturized. Avoid putting cotton swabs, twisted tissues or your fingernail inside your baby's nose.
