start with few spoons of dal water , rice water.
give it at a time when baby is not crying for hunger.
introduce it 1 to 2 hours after you breastfeed,
baby will first get a texture of food then accept it.
slowly increase quantity, introduce mashed banana , which is easily accepted by many babies.
avoid sugar and salt.
as kidneys are immature, sodium load may not be tolerated,
sugars lead to tendency of having sweet foods only, instead give all food groups.
also it reduces risk of future diseases
