Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. due to pressure on one side of the head during sleeping there is flatness / abnormal shape on that side of the head.
no treatment is required for flat head / bumpy head and you will see that by one year to two years of age the flat head will go away as soon as the child beginsx to sit and later walk.
pillows will not help much in this case so do not worry.
the bones in the skull are elastic so to give space to the growing brain it takes different shape and when the growth of the xbrain occurs properly then gradually they will take a normal shape.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Vary positions in the crib.
In this position, the infant must turn to the right to look out into the room. Position your baby in the crib to encourage active turning of the head to the side that's not flattened. Don't use wedge pillows or other devices to keep your baby in one position.
