Q.

my baby 1 yr 1 month age..last 3 month he suffering dysentery..why??stool routine culture test done..2 times antibiotics given..switch 100 and taxim o..but he is not well...when medicine is stop then again start mucus poop

A. dr his stool routine and culture report is fine..no bacterial growth..but when zinc is stopped then again his dysentery come back..why?? what's the reason..

A. take medicines according to the culture report which is more specific treatment. if there is no relief it is advisable to see the doctor for proper examination if there is need for proper investigations also both for diagnosis and treatment

Q. hello doctor my daughter is 18 months old. 4 months ago her VUR surgery was done. She had Grade 4 VUR problem. Now we have to done urine test every month. I want to know her urine routine reports are perfectly normal with PUS cell 1/2, Epithelial cells 1-2, Bacteria absent. We have done her urine culture also with the same sample whose routine reports are normal as I mentioned above. but in culture it shows >10⁵ and name of bacteria. I'm not getting it how it is possible if routine reports are normal then why it shows growth in culture reports. please help me with this.
