Q.
My babies 2.5 month vaccination has been done on feb 2. He was having fever about 37.6 degrees also his bcg vaccine lump is swelled so iam confused is its vaccination reaction or fever due to swelling. Now its 3rd day after vaccination, 2nd day after vaccination his fever was redused to 36.4 but today again its increased to 37.6 degrees. Do i need to consult pediatrician.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it may be any other viral .Temperature more than 99 is considered as fever . Digital thermometer can be used at armpit for checking for same . If fever is there paracetamol can be used 8 hourly for fever . If it remains more than 2 days then consult a doctor .
