Q.

my 9months 16 days baby boy is not gaining proper weight .he is still 7.2kg but very active.Is it a cause of concern? And is it good to give vit A vaccine as our regular consulting doctor said its not mandatory.

A. if he is gaining weight slowly is ok but instead of gaining he is reducing then u need to worry . evenly daughter used to gain weight slowly but she used to eat properly n she used to be very active . I used to worry about her wgt I asked my paediatrician he told me that she is gaining wgt no need to worry until she loses wgt.. make your son feed properly breast milk is the best option n he is already 9months so u can even give him wgt gaining foods too

A. Yes it is not mandatory switch for choice which you want to go ahead with it or not it’s not a compulsory vaccination so you can take your call depending upon how beneficial it is going to be for your child so you can just check for that
