my 9month old baby weight is 6.4kg his birth weight is 1.6kg.Is this weight is appropriate.

If your child was a full term child then this is a less weight gain because the birth weight was less so the current gain is also less as compared to that so I think it would be good if you can give more of proteins to the child in the diet vegetarian as of now which is what is going to be beneficial
