A. at this age the child should pass stool regularly. if the consistency is hard and the child is having pain while passing stool it is considered as constipation. give plenty of water and fibre diet to the child it is important to give fibre diet from cereals pulses vegetables and fruits avoid giving more than 400 ml milk everyday and avoid giving packet fand processed foods as well as biscuits and refined food adding papaya , fennel seeds water , oats pear prunes pineapple banana kishmish to the regular diet will help in decreasing constipation

A. hi mostly it is caused by inadequate intake of fluids and low fiber diet so first if you are giving food items like toast , biscuits etc then please stop giving it. give spinach soup, tomatoes soup, prune juice, fruit like pear papaya plum banana etc to your child keep your child well hydrated give warm milk with one tbsp of ghee daily before sleep time.
