Q.
My 9 month old boy weight is 7.6kg from last 3 months. Why he is not gaining weight. I hd already discussed with 3 doctors but they said it normal. As his birth weight was 2.90 kg

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist1 month agoA. dear mum, a weight of 7.6 kg is fine for ur baby at the age of 9 months. some babies gain weight slowly. by 1 year, baby shud triple the birth weight.

A lot of times kids don’t gain weight because whatever food they are eating either is not getting digested properly all they are having some deficiency which is not letting the weight increase because the food is not getting absorbed properly in the body so you need to check for either of the two reasons and get the haemoglobin levels checked
