Q.

my 9.5 month baby is constipated from around a month and has black powder like residue in stool. In her stool test, mucus and 2-3 pus cells are reported. alkaline stool, no blood, no parasites, Report is attached. Is it normal, when i consulted with my pediatrician before stool test she said just increase fibre intake. but stool test now shows pus and mucus.

A. This is an indication that your child is having a stomach infection when that is a proper course of antibiotics should be required to be given to the child and you should consult your doctor regarding that and your daughter only going to give you quite assistance on the medicines to be given
