Q.

My 8month old baby is often having constipation. I consulted a doctor and he gave a tonic named Duphalac . Then my baby was ok but after the course time he was again having constipation and difficulty in pooping. I had tried apple juice, warm bath, dried raisins and everything but nothing works. What should I do?

A. Constipation in Babies less than 6 to 8 months is very common and more in formula fed babies. you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cogw's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age

A. You Try giving prune juice to your child eat in the night time before you put your child to sleep and papaya early in the morning as soon as the child wakes up see if that works for you and also buttermilk and coconut water is supposed to be very good you can try them as well
