My 8 months old hasnt even started to stand on all 4s he preffers to laydown instead of sitting. He falls easily while sitting and playing and doesn’t firmly sit for long.

A. Kids learn to sit independently by the time of eight months there is no stability as you mentioned that the child falls down within some seconds of sitting independently I think there is a delay I believe it’s a good time for you to visit a doctor for further assessment
