A. usually baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

A. Some kids learn to sit by the age of 8 1/2 months also and Dr till the time of one year also some can sit but as per if I go as per general statistics then sometimes if the child does not sit well after completing age of 8 to 8 1/2 months then it can be considered as a delay so wait for 15 to 20 days more yet if you do not see any change kindly consult your doctor for further assessment
