My 8 month old baby has a habit of thumb sucking. He cannot sleep without it. This habit is also impacting his food intake and other activi. What can I do to get rid of this habit?

Gently press your child’s gums with a soft cotton cloth dipped in cold water to reduce teething discomfort, if any. Be patient and persistent in your efforts.
