Q.
My 8 month baby only wants my breast to fall asleep.. he is full but just for the sucking purpose he wants my breast .. even in midnight he wakes and search for breast if he can’t find he cries and as soon as i give him my nipple he sleeps within seconds.. this happen 5-6 times at night… Even in day time he want my breast to sleep even if he had solids or he is full.. So, In a nutshell he only knows to sleep on breast while sucking (comfort nursing) and no other way to sleep. Please guide

You should give another feeding to the child during the night time a lot of kids are used to sleeping like this and this is very common for a child but yes this in the night time it’s basically an addiction so you can give water to the child when your child pics of looking for a nipple that’s going to be helpful
