Q.
My 8 month baby girl has fever.She had mosquito bite or any other reason.No other symptoms.Fever repeates every 8 hours gap after medicine as prescribed by doctor.What fever is this and what home remedies should I do along with medication?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. you can give paracetamol to the child for fever and this medicine can be repeated maximum 4 times per day.
it is given according to the weight of the child and according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever
important to do body sponge aznd give plenty of fluids to drink to prevent dehydration and decrease body temperature.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
higherz medicines for fever is required or not will be told by the doctor
