Q.

My 7month 24days old baby boy weight is 7.3kg and his birth weight is 3.1kg.is this weight gain is adequate or not?if its low then what to do to increase weight?

A. Weight gain in a child is a good indicator for proper health of the child and there should be a regular weight gain as per the age of the child. if there is not a proper weight gain it can be because of many factors and three most important causes are Baby not taking enough calories Babfy is not absorbing the enough calories which the baby is taking Baby is burning too many calories . So a prodper assessment is very important to know the cause regarding this .

A. Hello dear parent! As per your child’s birth weight, present weight gain is good. It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles it’s birth weight by 6 months completion and triples by one year. Continue feeding your baby well. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil.
