A. It's common for babies to experience increased crying in the evening, a phenomenon often referred to as "colic." Since your pediatrician has recommended Colic Aid, it's likely meant to help alleviate the discomfort caused by gas or colic, which can lead to excessive crying. Colic Aid generally contains ingredients that help reduce gas and soothe the baby’s stomach. To use it, you should follow the specific dosage instructions on the product label or as advised by your pediatrician, which typically involves giving it before or after feeding. If the crying persists, try to keep your baby calm and comfortable, using gentle techniques such as rocking, swaddling, or offering a pacifier. Also, make sure that your baby is properly burped after every feed to avoid trapped gas, which could contribute to discomfort. If the issue continues or worsens, it’s important to consult your pediatrician for further guidance or alternative treatments.
