my 6months baby catched cold and the temperature is 99 nose is blocked

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of f viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

A. Sinarist 1ML twice a day for three days can be given to the child along with that for block nose you can use nasal drops and if your child is having fever that’s 99° fahrenheit which is very mild so you can give Calpol to your child or paracetamol whatever is available to you as of now
