Q.

my 6 years baba 24 kg has ears pain because of cold blocking in the nose . can I give fever medicine without having fever for pain

A. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed. if any rfever is there pgaracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

A. because of cold some time cold may go to ears and pain because of give steam inhalation to treat.. use nasoclear saline nasal drops you can use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub visit the doctor if persists
