Q.

my 6 month old breastfeeding baby not gaining weight. she has constant 6.6 kg since last 3 month. she is active and happy.

A. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding. meet the doctor for weight assessgment. if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake. if the growtch of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child

A. Then maybe for last three months whatever breast feeding you are giving to the child is not suiting the child in terms of weight gain I think you should start giving formula feeding to the child then only your child will have a healthy weightWrite Your Answer Here
