A. A sudden change in a baby's feeding habits can be due to several reasons: 1. **Teething**: If your baby is teething, it may cause discomfort or a change in appetite. 2. **Illness**: Check if there are any signs of illness, such as a cold, ear infection, or other discomfort that might be affecting her willingness to drink formula. 3. **Taste or Temperature Preferences**: Sometimes, a change in the taste or temperature of the formula can affect a baby’s willingness to drink it. Ensure the formula is prepared correctly and is at the right temperature. 4. **Formula Changes**: If you've recently changed the brand or type of formula, she might be rejecting it due to the new taste or composition. 5. **Growth Spurts**: During growth spurts, babies might temporarily change their feeding patterns. To address this: - **Check for Symptoms**: Look for any signs of illness or discomfort. - **Consult a Pediatrician**: If the change persists or if you have concerns about her nutrition or health, it’s best to consult her doctor to rule out any underlying issues. - **Offer Formula at Different Times**: Try offering formula at different times or in different bottles to see if she responds better. It’s important to monitor her overall intake and ensure she’s getting enough nourishment.
