Q.

My 6 month old baby poops after every feed and strains a lot when he passes motion is this normal or should I consult a doc for medication I am breastfeedin him n only once in a day ragi porridge s given

A. Thanks a lot for the quick response. it's watery and thr r few solid particles which is the same from birth. I hope it's ok as per ur response. Thanks a lot

A. if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid then there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as straining. but if it is hard then the child is suffering from constipation and medical treatment will be required

A. Hi Mom It’s all normal and common No need to worry Give boiled cool water Give adequate water after every feeding Give two liquid diet followed by BM or formula milk Give seasonal fruits vegetables cereals protein rich nutritious food Maintain hygiene It will correct soon No need to worry
