My 6 month child fall from bed and having injury on his head what to do plzz suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionallby . Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .

Just Rub a little bit all of ice on to that at least settle down and once you get a check with your doctor the doctor would be able to advise you if you need to apply any ointment on top of that because it seems like a little bit of swelling is going to come up on top of that
